Renovation of an apartment located in a 30's building
- Dimensions: 80m²
- Objective: Modernizing while keeping ancient details
- Service: interior architecture and decoration
The challenge for the interior architect was to modernize the space while preserving as many original details as possible (door handles, fireplaces, overdoor panels, and architectural details, for example) typical of the 1930s.
Work on colors
To meet the owners’ requests, the interior architect worked on colors and materials to create a sequence of monobloc rooms, each distinct, crafted in subtle shades.
The kitchen appears entirely made of colored terrazzo. The green bedroom opens onto the adjoining garden. The living spaces are enveloped in soft pink tones.
Custom storage, made by Iota Element, is deliberately discreet.
The interior design is highlighted by the presence of a Kalupso© lighting installation by Moure / Studio, a selection of designer furniture, and vintage pieces sourced by the client.
