Ibiza-style garden with swimming pool
- Style: clean, mineral, warm
- Species: palm trees, olive trees, grasses, agaves, euphorbias
On a plot with almost no existing vegetation in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, this garden was designed as a true extension of the recently renovated house. The owner wanted an outdoor space that invites escape, evoking the dry, sunlit landscapes of Ibiza while remaining warm and welcoming.
The overall atmosphere of the project is inspired by Mediterranean island landscapes. The plant palette plays a central role in the garden’s identity: both aesthetic and comforting, it addresses a dual objective—creating a sense of escape while ensuring a responsible approach to water management and maintenance.
Landscaped planting beds, along with key statement elements such as large palm trees and olive trees, blend with grasses, agaves, and euphorbias to create a composition that is graphic, sustainable, and perfectly suited to local conditions and the Mediterranean spirit of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
The landscape designer selected mineral textures for the areas surrounding the swimming pool. Subtle and luminous, they enhance the elegant seaside atmosphere without excess.
In this complete outdoor renovation project, every element was designed to dialogue with the interior architecture: clean lines, raw materials, and a play of light and shadow. Together, they create a refined, welcoming, and easy-to-live-in garden throughout the year.
